The Palestinian Foreign Ministry Applauds France's Sanctions on Alleged Jewish Settlers Inciting Violence and Expatriates welcomes the decision of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs to impose sanctions on 28 extremist Israeli settlers involved in attacks and violence against Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank. It considers this a courageous decision and a significant step in the right direction towards the necessity of imposing more sanctions on the entire colonial settlement system in the entire land of the State of Palestine.

The ministry urges all countries to impose deterrent sanctions not only on extremist settlers but also to place terrorist settler organizations on terrorism lists, along with the entire colonial system. It calls for exerting pressure on the occupying state to compel it to stop settlement activities, dismantle armed settler militias, and withdraw their weapons.
