July 12, the U.S. Embassy in partnership with Brogdon Family
Foundation, Jr. NBA Africa, and Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete Youth Park
welcomed U.S. professional basketball players
Myles Turner, Tim Frazier and Antony Tolliver. The players conducted a
basketball camp for 200 youth and children, and local coaches, at the
Jakaya Mrisho Youth Park as part of the U.S. State Department’s Sports
Diplomacy Program, which promotes international
relationship-building through sports exchanges.
